      First, check the load on the diesel generator set. Most often, sudden voltage instability is caused by a sudden change in load, such as starting up multiple high-power devices simultaneously or shutting down a single device. This can cause a sudden increase or decrease in the load on the diesel generator set. To avoid this situation, calculate the total power of the connected equipment from the outset to ensure it does not exceed 80% of the diesel generator's rated power. Also, avoid starting multiple high-power devices simultaneously. If the load is inherently unstable, such as equipment that frequently starts and stops, a voltage stabilizer can be installed on the generator to assist the diesel generator in regulating voltage.

      Next, check the diesel generator's speed governor for problems. Unstable speed can also cause generator output voltage fluctuations. Observe the tachometer.
